Author Guidelines
Knowlet: Journal of Knowledge Management and Library Innovation
The Knowlet welcomes high-quality, original contributions in the fields of knowledge management, library science, information management, digital innovation, and related interdisciplinary domains. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure uniformity and smooth processing of manuscripts.
1. Manuscript Types Accepted
- Research Articles (4,000–7,000 words) – Original studies with theoretical and practical contributions.
- Review Papers (4,000–6,000 words) – Critical reviews of recent developments.
- Case Studies (2,500–4,000 words) – Innovative practices, models, or institutional experiences.
- Short Communications / Notes (1,500–2,500 words).
- Book Reviews (1,000–1,500 words).
2. General Formatting
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, justified.
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Headings: Use a clear hierarchy (e.g., Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3).
- Word Limit: As per manuscript type (excluding references, tables, and figures).
3. Structure of the Manuscript
- Title Page
- Title of the paper (concise and informative).
- Author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), email address, and ORCID (if available).
- Corresponding author’s contact details.
- Abstract
- 150–250 words.
- State purpose, methodology, major findings, and implications.
- Include 4–6 keywords.
- Main Text
- Introduction
- Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
- Methodology
- Results / Findings
- Discussion
- Conclusion and Implications
- Tables and Figures
- Insert within the text, numbered consecutively (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).
- Provide titles and sources (if applicable).
- Acknowledgments (if any).
- References
- Follow APA Style (7th Edition).
- Examples:
- Journal Article: Smith, J. (2022). Digital knowledge sharing in libraries. Journal of Information Studies, 18(2), 45–58. https://doi.org/xxxx
- Book: Nonaka, I., & Takeuchi, H. (1995). The knowledge-creating company. Oxford University Press.
4. Originality and Ethics
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Authors must ensure proper citation and avoid plagiarism.
- Any conflict of interest or funding source must be disclosed.
5. Submission Process
- Submit manuscripts electronically via email: editor@imperialpublications.com or through the online submission system https://knowletjournal.com/index.php/defaut/about/submissions
- Along with the manuscript, submit a cover letter stating:
- Declaration of originality.
- Contribution of the study.
- Consent of all authors.
6. Peer Review Policy
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
- Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject papers not meeting standards.
7. Copyright and Licensing
- Authors retain copyright but grant Knowlet the right of first publication.
- Papers are published under a [Creative Commons License - CC BY-NC].
8. Processing Charges
- Article Processing Charge (APC) – Rs.2500.00 to be paid after acceptance of the Article.
